Patient safety knowledge questionnaire part was designed by analysing the related literature and was compiled in order to be suitable for measuring changes in knowledge coming from our training course. According to this, the questionnaire contains 7 single and multiple-choice questions about the most important and relevant parts of handover.
The organizational culture part of our survey questionnaire was developed by slightly modifying the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture. The modifications were needed to adapt some terminologies to the Hungarian and Polish healthcare system.
All parts of the questionnaire were piloted before using the first time. The whole questionnaire is available in English, Polish and Hungarian.
